When visiting Malta we advice to rent a car and stay in one of the hotels which also holds a car-park. There are plenty of day-trips possible and much easier if you have your own transport. Busses and taxis are available on the island, but we found that to reach the treasures these are not always sufficient or available.
Our favourite place to go on the island. Recently SkyBeach has opened on the top floor; the third pool area in this hotel surrounded by the most spectacular views over the bay of St. Julians.
Next to the SkyBeach pool, there is an indoor- and another outdoor pool. Off course a gym, and the options of 5 different restaurant. Breakfast is served daily buffet style offering enough healthy options to kickstart your day.
