1x gebrand bamboezout, zeer fijn poeder.
Om bamboezout te maken is veel ervaring en geduld nodig. Men steekt zeezout in kokers van 3 jaar oude bamboe en sluit ze af met rode bergklei. Vervolgens tot 9x verhit - vermalen - verhit - vermalen gedurende 8-15 uur op een heet vuur van dennenhout. De zwavelrijke bamboe verkoolt en het zout neemt telkens deels de sappen en mineralen op van de bamboe en de rode klei.
