Omschrijving
Success Books Nutrition & Physical Degeneration
The thick research/travel report with hundreds of photos, in large format with a hardcover by Weston A. Price, dentist, researcher, oral surgeon, but above all a visionary, who traveled the entire world for almost 10 years in the 1930s to discover the secrets of healthy people.
This highly respected dentist and dental scientist chose to focus on healthy people:
what was their secret? In his quest, Dr. Price traveled to hundreds of cities in 14 countries.
He visited some of the most remote areas in the world.
He saw perfect dental arches, little to no tooth decay, a high resistance to tuberculosis, and perfect health among people who ate their native diets.
Dr. Price discovered that for these people, when they came into contact with modern foods such as white flour, refined vegetable oils, and canned foods, serious forms of decay quickly appeared: cavities, malformed jaw structures, crooked teeth and molars, arthritis, and low resistance to tuberculosis.
Dr. Price captured in words and images both the ancient wisdom that led to perfect health and the physical decay that followed the switch to modern, processed foods.
An important study, compiled in this book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.
A shocking and impressive work on the negative effects of modern, processed food on health.
“Absolutely a foundational book on nutrition and disease prevention, which is just as relevant today as when it was first published. Far ahead of its time.”
– Jonathan V. Wright, M.D.
“Optimal and healthy nutrition is the medicine of the future.”
– Linus Pauling, two-time Nobel Prize winner
“Nutrition and Physical Degeneration should be read by everyone. We dentists know better than anyone how important nutrition is to prevent tooth decay.”
– Drs. Fred Neelissen, dentist and co-founder of the Dutch Association for the Promotion of Bio-Energetic Dentistry (NVBT)
“Dr. Weston Price was one of the first prominent health scientists of the 20th century. This exceptional masterpiece in the field of nutritional science belongs on the bookshelf of anyone who genuinely wants to learn how nutrition can improve health.”
— Dr. Joseph Mercola
