Nannycare Follow-on Milk is a bottle feed based on goat milk, specifically suitable for use as a milk feed for children from 6 months, alongside the introduction of solid foods. Nannycare Follow-on Milk is well aligned with Nannycare Infant Milk and can also be given directly when transitioning to bottle feeding (or a combination of breast and bottle feeding).

Feeding schedule advice
Goat milk formula is a good alternative to cow's milk-based formula.

Babies from 6 months* need approximately 500-600 ml of breast milk or formula per day. This is just a guideline. Your child may need more or less than indicated in the table, or may drink different amounts at different times. Always let your child stop feeding when they indicate they are full. The volume of the prepared formula is slightly larger than that of the added water. Add one scoop per 30 ml of water, as indicated in the following table:

Preparation advice
Follow the preparation instructions carefully. Incorrect preparation and storage of the product pose health risks. Always wash your hands before preparing the feed.
1. Wash your hands and sterilize bottles and nipples according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Boil fresh water. Do not use water that has been artificially softened or previously boiled. Do not let it cool for more than 30 minutes. Pour the required amount of water (see table) into a sterilized baby bottle.
3. Fill the provided scoop loosely with powder and level off. Always add 1 leveled scoop (4.3 grams) of powder to every 30 ml of water in the bottle.
4. Add the required number of scoops to the boiled and cooled water.
5. Place the sterilized nipple and cap on the bottle and shake until the powder is completely dissolved.
6. If necessary, cool the bottle further under cold running water. Check the temperature of the feed (hand warm). Give the feed immediately after preparation.

Important information
Nannycare Follow-on Milk is only suitable for specific purposes as a food for infants older than 6 months, as part of a varied and balanced diet. It should not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first six months of life and is also not suitable for infants younger than 6 months. The decision to start supplementary feeding should only be made on the advice of independent experts in the fields of medicine, nutrition, or pharmacology, or by individuals who are professionally responsible for the care of mother and child, based on the specific growth and development needs of the individual infant.

Only lactose added Due to European regulations, it is mandatory to add extra carbohydrates to infant formulas for children under 1 year to meet the energy needs of these young children. Nannycare consciously chooses not to use less favorable carbohydrates such as maltodextrin or glucose syrup, as many other formulas do, but exclusively uses the more expensive lactose to supplement the natural lactose content in goat's milk.

Storage instructions
For hygienic reasons, do not store any prepared feeds. Always prepare fresh feed each time and dispose of leftovers no later than 2 hours after preparation. The water must be freshly boiled. Do not let it cool for more than 30 minutes and to at least 70°C. Do not warm the feed in the microwave to prevent uneven heating and the risk of burns for your child. Do not add extra scoops of powder or other ingredients to the bottle. Store (un)opened cans in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). Always close the can properly. Use the contents within 4 weeks after the first opening.
