Breastfeeding is the best nutrition for babies, even if they have a cow's milk allergy. If the mother eliminates cow's milk and dairy products from her diet, the baby will not receive these substances through breast milk. A dietitian can help the mother to create a suitable cow's milk-free diet. Sometimes the doctor or dietitian may recommend a nutrition based on free amino acids. This nutrition will then be free of cow's milk protein.

Neocate LCP is completely free of cow's milk protein. The nutrition is made based on free amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. The immune system cannot react to these amino acids because they are too small. The nutrition is produced in a cow's milk protein-free environment. Neocate is a complete nutrition for infants from birth to 12 months.

Preparation advice
Wash your hands and clean the preparation surface.
Sterilize the bottle and the nipple.
Boil fresh water for 5 minutes or, if using an electric kettle, until it switches off.
Let it cool for at least 30 minutes until it feels warm on the wrist.
Pour the recommended amount of water into a sterilized feeding bottle.
Fill the provided scoop with powder and level off excess powder with a clean, dry knife. Do not pack the powder into the scoop. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist.
Any remaining food in the bottle must be discarded after 11 hours. Do not reheat the food.

One level scoop contains 4.5 grams of powder. Add 1 scoop of powder to 30 ml of water to achieve the recommended nutritional concentration. The osmolality of the recommended concentration (i.e. 13.5 g of powder made up with water to a volume of 100 ml) is 340 ml Osmolol/kg H2O
