Omschrijving
Aromed Frankincense oil organic
It is an evergreen tree, sometimes up to 8 m tall, with thick branches from the ground. The fragrant resin oozes from the bark after it is damaged to protect itself. The African or Arabian frankincense or Frankincense comes from the Boswellia carterii. Frankincense essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the resin of the tree. It has a light yellow or greenish color and has a spicy, resinous scent.
Frankincense rejuvenates the skin and works very well against wrinkles. Frankincense oil has the following properties when applied physically: purifying, astringent, skin-repairing, soothing, calming. Frankincense has a calming and reassuring effect, reduces tension and stress, and improves mood. This oil is ideal for evaporating before meditation.
Composition
Boswellia carterii
Usage
4-6 drops to evaporate.
Mix with a base oil for a skin or massage oil.
