Omschrijving
Chi Ciste rose cultivar
The clear brown oil has a warm, spicy, somewhat woody scent with a hint of cognac.
These are evergreen and attractive shrubs with beautiful flowers. The cistus ladanifer grows up to 2.5 meters high and has upright branches with sticky leaves and large white flowers. The young twigs and leaves secrete a resin. The resin known as labdanum (or laudanum) is an important product in the perfume industry. Most cistus rose is now distilled from the flowering plants with resin.
The yield of essential oil varies greatly but is around 3%. This means that 30 kg of plant material is needed for 1 liter of oil. The color of this oil is clear brown or amber.
Ingredients
Cistus ladaniferus leaf oil, naturally contains: Limonene, Linalool.
Usage
In the aroma diffuser: the nose determines the number of drops, usually between 5 and 20 drops into the water in the diffuser. In the aroma inhaler: drop 20 drops onto the cotton stick. On the scent stone: Use 6 to 10 drops for use of the stone in the toilet, wardrobe, or on the nightstand. Steaming: a maximum of 1 - 5 drops of essential oil.
The oil can also be used in a cosmetic preparation, never apply directly to the skin.
Warnings
Flammable liquid and vapor. May be fatal if the substance enters the airways when swallowed. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Prevent release into the environment. AFTER SWALLOWING: immediately consult a POISON CENTER or a doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting. In case of skin irritation: consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. The oil is not recommended for internal use and on the skin during pregnancy.
