By brushing daily, Emoform Sensitive helps prevent and reduce tooth hypersensitivity, for example, when in painful contact with hot/cold temperatures or while brushing.

In addition to this information, Emoform Sensitive toothpaste promotes the remineralization of enamel and thus helps limit cavities.

It is recommended to brush your teeth after every meal and to visit a dentist regularly.

Effect of EMOFORM toothpaste:
Numerous studies* have proven that potassium nitrate is a very effective agent against sensitive tooth necks. This prompted the globally respected American Food and Drug Administration – the FDA – to recognize potassium nitrate as the only effective agent against sensitive tooth necks and against sensitivity to heat, cold, sweetness, and acidity.

Moreover, EMOFORM® contains high concentrations of mineral salts that prevent plaque formation, harden the gum surface, counteract inflamed and slightly bleeding gums, and thus prevent periodontitis. The high concentration of mineral salts also has an inhibitory effect on bacterial growth.

Due to the high concentration of inorganic salts in EMOFORM®, the paste becomes slightly alkaline, which also affects the saliva. This slightly alkaline saliva neutralizes the acids produced by bacteria that are harmful to the teeth and promote caries.

The other substances in EMOFORM® ensure that the teeth and gums are thoroughly cleaned, without damaging the enamel.

In the Netherlands, EMOFORM® is available in two types, with and without fluoride.
Potassium nitrate with fluoride is the only agent recognized by the FDA as effective for treating sensitive teeth and preventing caries.

Instructions for use of EMOFORM toothpaste:
Treat teeth and molars with a soft to medium-hard brush, preferably 3 times a day after meals.
In case of severe sensitivity, EMOFORM® can be applied with a finger to the gums and gently massaged, allowing the paste to sit for 1-2 minutes.

Not suitable for children under 12 years.
