Epitact Hallux valgus bump protector size 42/45

Epitact Hallux valgus bump protector size 42/45

Hallux valgus is a deformity of the big toe, towards the other toes. The head of the first metatarsal bone is further away from the foot and begins to protrude: an internal exostosis, or a bump, develops.

This deformity affects 5 to 10% of the population and can be particularly debilitating.
- The patented ergonomics and the thickness of the protective plaster (deliberately limited to 1 mm gel) provide all the benefits of Epithelium 26 without causing extra pressure in the shoe.

What this product is used for
Relieving pain caused by hallux valgus.

Instructions for use
• By placing a cushion of Epithelium 26® with a thickness of 1 mm on the bump, less friction is created, without extra pressure due to lack of space in the shoes.
• The protection is easy to apply and stays in place excellently.
• The cushions can be washed in the included laundry bag at 40° in the machine.
• If you use them daily and clean them properly, you can use the cushions for several months.
• If you are diabetic, it is better to use the Hallux valgus plaster.

Contraindications
Do not apply to broken skin.
In case of diabetes, phlebitis, and neuropathy, regularly monitor the foot.
