Instructions for use
1. Before the measurement procedure, check that the liquid column is at least below 36 °C.
2. Clean the glass thermometer before and after use.
3. Place the thermometer on the body according to the type of measurement (oral, rectal, axillary)
4. After at least 4 minutes, the thermometer has recorded the body temperature.
The measuring liquid in the measuring capillary of the thermometer shows the measured body temperature on the temperature scale.
Reading the temperature can be facilitated by gently shaking the thermometer back and forth.
5. After the measurement, the display liquid must be brought back to below 36 °C.
To do this, hold the thermometer as far as possible at the upper end and shake it with at least 15 to 20 quick wrist movements.
Also bring the display liquid back if you want to take another measurement.

Ingredients
Medical glass liquid thermometer with easy flip

Warnings
The thermometer has a hermetically sealed, hygienic glass casing and is indefinitely disinfectable.

The temperature of the cleaning and disinfecting solution must not exceed 32 °C.
The cleaning of the glass thermometer before and after use can be done with cold soapy water.
Disinfect the thermometer with an alcohol-soaked cotton ball or cloth, or immerse the thermometer in a disinfecting solution.
If the thermometer breaks, the spilled liquid can be removed with a brush, tissue, or cloth moistened with soapy water.
The remains can be disposed of as household waste.

Oral - measurement time: min. 4 minutes. Normal temperature 37 °C
The oral measurement is preferred by doctors. It provides quick accurate results.
The tip of the thermometer (sensor) is placed in the cavity to the left or right of the root of the tongue.

Rectal - measurement time: min. 4 minutes. Normal temperature: approx. 37.6 °C
The rectal method is preferably used for children.
The tip of the thermometer (sensor) is inserted into the anus (approx. 2 cm), where a little skin cream or baby oil can be applied to the tip.
You can use a protective cover for the thermometer.
Insert the thermometer into this protective cover. Rub the protective cover for the measuring sensor with a water-soluble gel to facilitate insertion.
Do not use rough petroleum jelly. Do not insert the tip of the measuring sensor more than 2 cm into the rectum.
STOP if you feel any resistance.

Axillary - measurement time: min. 4 minutes. Normal temperature: approx. 36.7 °C.
The axillary measurement method provides less accurate measurements than the oral or rectal measurement. Wipe the armpit with a dry cloth. Place the tip of the thermometer in the armpit and hold the arm tightly against the body.
