20 drops = 1 ml
To help the animal get used to the product, it is recommended to start with 1/3 of the usage instructions described above and to gradually increase to the recommended amount over a week.
For sensitive animals or in case of severe reactions, it is advisable to use a lower amount than usual, unless the veterinarian or therapist advises otherwise.
Use in the form of a course of 6 weeks. Depending on the results, the course can be extended afterwards. After 6 weeks, always take a break for one week.
Storage instructionsDo not give in case of stomach ulcers, gallstones, blockage of the bile ducts, cancer, autoimmune diseases, and organ transplants. Use during pregnancy and lactation only in consultation with a veterinarian or therapist. Do not give the product to weakened or very sick animals.
Cleansing takes a lot of energy! When the body (for example, due to illness) is already under extra strain, a drainage course may be too heavy. This can even hinder recovery.
This also applies to surgeries: do not give Drainage Compositum just before a surgery, but wait until the animal has recovered from the procedure. Only use the product after the animal has been able to restore its basic energy. Drainage Compositum can then help eliminate the residual substances from anesthesia.
Due to the cleansing effect via the liver, it is theoretically possible that medications metabolized by the liver may be less effective or work differently. Consult the veterinarian about the use of Drainage Compositum in combination with medications.
Particulars During the use of Drainage Compositum, waste substances are released to be eliminated by the excretory organs. These waste substances are transported by the blood. The amount of waste substances in the blood will temporarily be higher due to the use of Drainage Compositum. This can cause a feeling of fatigue, and animals may become somewhat lethargic as a result.
Drainage Compositum may sometimes cause a slight worsening of existing complaints at the beginning. This possible worsening should never be so severe that the animal becomes truly ill. By gradually increasing the use (see instructions for use), you can minimize the chances of complaints worsening at the start. If such symptoms persist for more than 3 to 4 weeks (usually, any initial worsening lasts about 2 weeks), it is advisable to contact the veterinarian or therapist.
Drainage Compositum poses no danger to the chip that many pets carry. Occasionally, stories circulate that a cleansing course would expel all foreign substances from the body, including the chip. This is not the case. In earlier years, when a different type of chip was used and people were not as skilled in placing it correctly, it often happened that a chip would 'wander' through the body. However, this is not a result of Drainage Compositum.
Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.
