Use of roots between 4.5 and 5.5 years old.
To deliver the best quality Ginseng products, ILHWA uses only Panax Ginseng roots that are between 4.5 and 5.5 years old. Studies by ILHWA have shown that Panax Ginseng roots of this age contain the maximum number of ginsenosides. Older roots have too much fiber with a lower number and balance of ginsenosides. Additionally, other key ingredients such as phenols and polysaccharides are significantly reduced.

Use of whole roots and small roots.
ILHWA processes the whole root with the smaller attached roots. Most companies peel the roots to save time during the processing. However, the unique ginsenosides are also found in the small roots. ILHWA consciously chooses a longer processing procedure for the most effective end product.

No high steam temperature.
Most ginseng companies process their Panax Ginseng under high steam temperatures to speed up the processing. However, the faster the process, the greater the chance that vitamins and germanium are destroyed and the amino acids and polysaccharides are reduced.

ILHWA therefore opts for a vacuum procedure based on low heat, eliminating the need for boiling, steaming, and high heat. This preserves all key ingredients in the Panax Ginseng.

Due to this unique processing procedure, ILHWA's ginseng extracts contain high concentrations of B vitamins, minerals (42), ginsenosides, and 14 saponins that have significant effects on the body.
