Mattisson Celtic sea salt dried

Celtic sea salt dried
Celtic sea salt (Celtic seasalt) is hand-harvested according to a traditional, over 2000-year-old Celtic method in the Guérande region of Brittany, France. Of all the salts available, Celtic salt has the lowest sodium content, namely 89.7%. This makes Celtic sea salt softer and friendlier than other salts.

Celtic sea salt has a gray color because the sea salt mixes with various clay minerals. This makes Celtic sea salt richer in minerals than other forms of salt. Because the salt is not washed, all minerals are retained. The clay marshes also ensure that Celtic sea salt is naturally purified and therefore free from pollution.

What is dried Celtic sea salt?
Unlike regular Celtic sea salt, this variant is dried and then sifted to 5mm. The salt is dried at low temperatures, which keeps the composition intact.

Usage
Use to flavor dishes.

Suitable for making sole
Sole is a mineral-rich drink made from Celtic sea salt and water that is consumed to replenish mineral deficiencies.

The advantage of ‘natural’ unrefined salt is that you need much less of it than with ‘regular’ table salt, as the flavor is much more pronounced.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry, and closed container.
