The skin produces vitamin D when exposed to UV B rays from the sun. From April to October, it is advisable to spend a lot of time outdoors and make the most of the benefits of the sun. However, be careful, as your baby's skin is very delicate and should not be exposed to the sun too much.

But in our regions, the sun is not always reliable. You can take vitamin D through foods that are rich in it: fatty fish, egg yolks, and liver.

Vitamin D has various physiological effects. It contributes to:

- the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus (two important minerals for bone composition)
- a normal calcium level
- the maintenance of good bones
- the maintenance of good muscle function
- the maintenance of healthy teeth
- the functioning of the immune system in children

Composition per daily dosage of 1 drop
5 µg of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, 200 IE, 100% RI*).
