Use
1. PREPARATION
Protect your clothing before use and have a watch ready so you can monitor the processing time. Schwarzkopf Blonde must be used on dry, unwashed hair.
2. MIXTURE
Protect your clothing and put on the provided gloves. Remove the protective cap from the application bottle. Read and remove the tag from the bottle. Twist the application cap onto the application bottle to open the seal. Remove the application cap again from the application bottle. Open the sachet by cutting along the dotted line. Pour the entire contents of the sachet blond-booster ultra plus (1) into the bottle. Now open the tube of bleaching cream (2) by piercing a hole in the aluminum foil with the back of the cap. Squeeze the tube completely empty into the application bottle. Tighten the cap of the application bottle securely and roll the bottle horizontally between your hands. Then shake vigorously in a vertical direction so that all components are well mixed and a creamy mixture is formed. Please note that the application bottle has a special venting system to prevent excessive pressure. This may cause small droplets to form at the neck of the bottle. Twist the tip of the cap of the application bottle and start the treatment immediately.
IMPORTANT
• Immediately after mixing, turn the top part of the cap of the application bottle, as oxygen development can cause foam or excessive pressure to build up within minutes.
• Never put the tip back on the application bottle, even if the product starts to foam.
• Start applying the mixture immediately after mixing the bleach (do not wait longer than 2–3 min.). If you are using two packages, mix and use the first package completely first. Then mix the second package and apply it immediately.
• Always use the entire mixture at once. Do not save any leftovers. Do not leave the mixture in a closed bottle (the bottle may expand and burst).
• IF CONTACT WITH EYES OCCURS, RINSE IMMEDIATELY WITH PLENTY OF LUKEWARM WATER AND CONSULT A DOCTOR.
3. APPLICATION
Before you start applying, squeeze the mixture in the tip to ensure an even consistency of the mixture. Then apply the mixture directly from the application bottle onto dry, unwashed hair.
3. a COMPLETE TREATMENT
This treatment is recommended if:
• you are bleaching your hair for the first time, or
• there is no visible regrowth from a previous bleaching.
Keep the gloves on and your clothing covered. Immediately distribute the entire contents of the mixture from the application bottle, section by section, onto dry hair and massage it in well so that all the hair is evenly covered. Leave the mixture on for 30–45 minutes.
3. b REGROWTH TREATMENT
A regrowth treatment is necessary if:
• your hair has already been bleached and
• a regrowth is visible.
Protect your clothing and keep your gloves on. Make a part in the hair with the tip of the application bottle. Apply the mixture over the part and massage it in well with your fingertips (keeping the gloves on). Repeat the process until the regrowth is fully treated. Ensure that the regrowth is evenly covered. Leave the mixture on for 30 to 40 minutes until the regrowth has the same color as the rest of the hair.
If necessary, dampen the hair lengths and distribute the mixture evenly over the rest of the hair. Leave the mixture on for another 2–5 minutes.
4. PROCESSING TIME
The bleaching effect depends on the original hair color and the duration of the processing time. Schwarzkopf Blonde Intensive Blond gently removes the natural pigments from the hair. This process goes through red and orange shades that disappear during the processing time. This is completely normal, so do not shorten the processing time and do not rinse the hair at that stage. For optimal bleaching results, the processing time should not be shortened. To determine the correct processing time, you can check it as follows during the
bleaching:
• Put the gloves back on.
• After 25 minutes, remove the product from a single strand of hair and check if the resulting blonde color is to your liking. To achieve a lighter result, reapply to the strand and extend the processing time. The darker your natural hair color, the more time you will need to achieve a certain blonde result (but do not exceed the maximum processing time of 45 minutes).
5. RINSING
Put the gloves back on for rinsing the hair. Once the processing time is up, wash the hair with lukewarm water until foam forms. Then rinse the hair thoroughly until the rinse water is clear.
6. AFTER-TREATMENT
Put on the gloves for the after-treatment. Massage the anti-yellow hair mask into towel-dried hair and comb through. Ensure that the hair mask is evenly distributed throughout the hair. Leave it on for 3 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Repeat the treatment after a few washes with the second sachet to refresh the blonde color.
