SHUSH Acoustic earplugs are developed for music lovers. They provide the most natural sound experience at live concerts, festivals, going out in clubs, pubs, cinemas, or other music events. In most venues, the sound is higher than 100 dB. Despite many attempts to agree on a maximum volume, the maximum volume is still dangerous, which is why
hearing protection is actually indispensable.

SHUSH hearing protection has been tested by PZT GmbH, Bismarckstrasse 264B, 26389 WILHELMSHAVEN, GERMANY (notified body number: 1974) in accordance with the following standards: EN 352-2:2020 (Europe), ANSI S3.19-1974 (USA), CSA Z94.2-02 (Canada), and AS/NZS 1270:2002 (Australia/New Zealand). SHUSH hearing protection is certified in accordance with the European regulation (EU) 2016/425 PPE. Product control according to module C2 is carried out annually by PZT.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
SHUSH earplugs are made from recyclable, hypoallergenic, and silicone-free synthetic rubber (TPE) and contain no toxic or hazardous substances. The properties of this material ensure an exceptionally long lifespan (365+ days) and durability. The filter is made from durable ceramic material (zirconium oxide). The storage case is made from high-quality aluminum with a rubber ring. The packaging is made from FSC certified cardboard.

Instructions for use
Check before use if the Shush earplugs are clean. Shush earplugs come in one universal size and there is no difference between left and right. Insertion  1. Hold the Shush earplugs by the stem. Use the hand on the same side as the ear where you want to insert the earplug. 2. Use your other hand to pull the top of the ear shell slightly upward so that the ear canal is better opened. 3. Gently slide the earplugs into the ear canal in an upward motion. 4. Release the ear shell and push the earplug in a bit more until it seals comfortably enough. SHUSH earplugs provide the best protection when you insert them before entering an environment or space with too much noise. This ensures the best sound experience. Wear them continuously and only remove them from your ears when you have left the environment or space with too much noise. Remove Rotate the earplug or move your ear shell back. This ensures that the earplug loosens slightly and you can easily remove it from your ear. Shush is developed with a three-layer mushroom shape. If you have a narrow ear canal, it is sufficient to earplugs to insert into the first layer. If you have a wide ear canal, the earplugs will fit entirely in the ear, up to the third layer. Every ear is different; ears come in various shapes and sizes. Of course, there are exceptions of ear canals that are too small or too wide for a universal size. SHUSH Earplugs fit in 99.9% of all ears. If you have a wide ear canal, be careful when inserting the earplugs for the first time. Make sure not to push them too far or too deep into your ear canal. They may then be difficult to retrieve from your ears or it may even be necessary to use tweezers. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE For good hygiene in the ear canal, it is important to clean the earplugs after use and store them dry in the included aluminum case. Shush is easy to clean with water and soap. With daily use, the earplugs last for years. Read the leaflet before use.

Warnings
• SHUSH earplugs only provide optimal protection when they are inserted correctly and kept clean. Make sure to follow the steps in this instruction manual carefully.
• Do not remove the filter from the SHUSH earplugs. Without the filter, your hearing is not protected.
• Do not use in an inflamed ear.
• After use, always remove the earplugs from your ears in a slow motion. Pulling the earplugs out too hard or too quickly can damage the eardrum. Make sure to follow the steps in this instruction manual carefully.
• Do not swallow. Not for internal use, except in the ear canal.
• Keep out of reach of children due to the risk of choking/suffocation.
• If the material of SHUSH earplugs tears or breaks, they should no longer be used as they may not seal your ear properly. The earplug should be replaced as soon as possible.
• Contact with certain chemicals can cause the earplugs to deteriorate more quickly. Therefore, always keep them clean and dry - in the included aluminum storage case - so that dirt cannot damage the earplugs.
• If the instructions for use are not followed correctly, the protective effect may be negatively affected. In this case, SHUSH takes no responsibility for any possible consequences.
• Hearing protection should be worn continuously in environments with excessive noise.
