What this product is used for
For moisturizing the eyes.

Instructions for use
Turn the cap counterclockwise before first use until the safety ring breaks. Remove the cap. Tilt your head back and hold the tip of the ampoule above the eye to be treated. Pull down the lower eyelid with the index finger of one hand. Squeeze the ampoule and a drop of Vismed will come out smoothly. Unless otherwise recommended, instill 1 or 2 drops of Vismed into the eye as often as needed. When you blink, the solution spreads and forms a transparent and long-lasting layer on the eye surface. Vismed can also be used while wearing contact lenses (hard or soft).

Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to an ingredient of this product.

Ingredients
1ml solution contains 1.0 mg sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate, disodium phosphate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, water for injections as well as disodium edetate and polyhexanide as preservatives. The solution is hypotonic.

Warnings
Do not use Vismed simultaneously with a medicine or other product that is to be administered in the eye, as this may affect their effect. Do not touch the tip of the opened ampoule. Also, do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the opened ampoule. Solutions that are not used immediately after opening the packaging must be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is no longer guaranteed and there is an increased risk of infection. Do not use Vismed if the ampoule is damaged.

Storage advice
Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25 °C!
Keep out of reach of children.
