Do you have fatty fish on the menu at least twice a week? Research shows that most Dutch people do not come close to this. This is concerning because our body cannot produce the omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA on its own. That is why we call these fatty acids essential.

Fish oil 1400 TG with D3 capsules contain a high dosage of no less than 560 mg EPA and 420 mg DHA from 1,120 mg omega 3. This amounts to an exceptionally high concentration of more than 80% active ingredient!

High omega 3 concentration of >80%
This high concentration of more than 80 percent omega 3 fatty acids is not a given. In a natural fish oil concentrate based on triglycerides, this ratio is usually only 26 – 57 percent. This is because the omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are bound at the molecular level to other fatty acids. Since we strive for a higher omega 3 content, we separate EPA and DHA from the other fatty acids with a careful extraction process. Only in this way can we achieve as much as 80% omega 3 per softgel!

Natural and best absorbable triglyceride form
When developing omega 3 supplements, we need to separate the active substances EPA and DHA from the other fatty acids. This can be done in two ways.

The first is the easiest and cheapest, but the so-called ethyl esters formed by this extraction process are also less well absorbed. For the absorption of this omega 3, our body still needs the substance glycerol. However, when this nutrient is not sufficiently present in your body, your body will not efficiently absorb the omega 3.

During the second (high-quality) process, the substances are returned to their original molecular structure, namely triglycerides. This is the natural form of omega 3 with the highest biological availability. This means that our body absorbs this form best, without the need for auxiliary substances. Therefore, Fish Oil 1400 TG with D3 contains only triglycerides.

25 mcg (1000) IU vitamin D3 in natural form
As a supplement to this high-dose formula, no less than 25 mcg of vitamin D3 has been added. Most people therefore do not need to take extra vitamin D when using Fish Oil 1400 TG with D3.

Moreover, the sun vitamin works well with omega 3. Vitamin D is, like vitamin E, an antioxidant that prevents the oxidation of oil. When oil oxidizes, it not only becomes rancid but also its quality deteriorates. This often leads to fishy burps, where you essentially burp up the oil. This is not the case with Fish Oil 1400 TG with D3!

Sustainably sourced from non-threatened fish species
The oil of this supplement is derived from 100% anchovy, a non-threatened fish species. This is in contrast to, among others, mackerel, cod, and brook trout, which often serve as the basis for fish oil supplements. These species are part of the most recent red list of endangered species and therefore far from sustainable options.

In addition, anchovies naturally have a short lifespan and the supplier Golden Omega catches them in their natural habitat, namely off the coast of Chile. These are the most fish-rich waters in the world. GoldenOmega® ensures an environmentally friendly production process
The omega 3 developer is based in Chile, which centralizes both the fishing and the production process into supplements. ToTox (oxidation value) below 5
