Hyaluronic acid is also known as the queen of hydration. This substance is a sugar (polysaccharide) that naturally occurs in our body. Of all the hyaluronic acid in our body, more than half is found in the skin. Therefore, hyaluronic acid is a beauty favorite for many people; the substance is present in many skincare products. While these products work on the outside of the skin, Hyaluronic Acid 150 beautifies the skin from within.

Some literature indicates that positive effects have already been found for hyaluronic acid at a dosage of 120 mg per day. The effect of hyaluronic acid depends on the weight of the molecules. The lower the weight of these particles, the deeper they can penetrate into our body cells. For Hyaluronic Acid 150, we used the patented HyaMax®.

Good absorption due to low molecular weight
In nature, hyaluronic acid is a relatively heavy substance (we are talking about a size of 500,000 – 6,000,000 daltons). This may mean very little to you, but what is important to know is that it is too large to be absorbed in the small intestine. HyaMax® sodium hyaluronate has an exceptionally low weight between 10,000 – 100,000 daltons. This makes our Hyaluronic Acid 150 well absorbable.

100% Vegan
Hyaluronic acid can be obtained in two ways: from animal or plant sources. In the past, rooster combs were used to obtain hyaluronic acid. Nowadays, most hyaluronic acid supplements are produced using bacterial fermentation. HyaMax® also derives its hyaluronic acid from bacterial fermentation, making the supplement highly suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

With vitamin C for better effect
Hyaluronic acid has a powerful effect in combination with vitamin C. That is why we have added 80 mg of vitamin C to our supplement.
