Warts are harmless thickening of the skin caused by the “human papilloma virus” (HPV). There are different types of warts, but the most common are the common warts. These warts consist of a core of connective tissue with blood vessels, covered with layers of epithelial tissue.
Common warts can be recognized by their rough, 'cauliflower-like' surface. They are usually found on the hands, knees, and elbows.
Plantar warts are the same as common warts, only they are located on the sole of the foot or the bottom of the toes. Plantar warts are flatter and are often more painful due to pressure when walking. Wartner® is specially developed for the treatment of plantar warts and includes two extra steps for optimal pre- and post-treatment.

7 to 10% of the population becomes infected with warts. They are most common in children and teenagers. Warts are highly contagious and occur more frequently when the body's immune system is weakened. Warts can spread through direct contact with the wart, from person to person, or from one body part to another. More than 50% of warts disappear on their own within 2 years without treatment. However, warts are unsightly and certainly plantar warts can be painful. Therefore, many people choose to treat warts instead of waiting for them to disappear on their own.

Traditionally, there are 2 ways to treat warts. On one hand, acid preparations that are applied directly to the wart or plantar wart, and on the other hand, surgical removal by a doctor.
that uses laser therapy, burning, or cryotherapy (freezing with liquid nitrogen). Wartner® is an effective and quick way, based on cryotherapy, to easily remove warts at home. Consult your doctor if you want to remove a wart/plantar wart larger than 7.5 mm.

Instructions for use
Step 1:
Take the foam on the blue side between your thumb and index finger and press
on it until a small opening becomes visible. Slide the opening of the
foam over the stick of the applicator holder until the stick is no longer
is visible.
Step 2
Place the spray can upright and keep it away from your body,
sources of ignition, heat sources, direct sunlight, and electrical sources.
Place the holder with the foam in the opening of the spray can in such a way
until the foam is no longer visible. Hold the spray can with one hand at
the bottom firmly and with the other hand press the valve for three
seconds firmly in (count from 21 to 23). You will hear a hissing sound. Remove the
holder with the foam out of the valve. The foam is soaked with
cold liquid and condensation forms. This condensation is harmless.
Step 3
Now wait 20 seconds before applying the foam to the wart so that
the temperature can drop further and the effect of Wartner® is optimal.
Step 4
After waiting 20 seconds, place the end of the foam
with a light pressure on the wart.
- For common warts: use the foam for 20 seconds
- For plantar warts: use the foam for 40 seconds

Ensure that there is constant contact with the area to be treated. The
the foam must be used according to the indicated treatment time. There will
a painful, tingling sensation may occur as a result of the freezing.

Wait 2 minutes after treating the wart before using a cloth to
foam removed from the holder. Discard the foam after 1 use.

Do not reuse the foam and do not touch the end of the foam with
bare hands to ensure that you do not infect the skin with the wart virus

Contraindications
- If you are not 100% sure whether the condition is a wart, consult your doctor before using Wartner®.
- This product may only be applied by adults. Do not
use in children under 4 years old.
- Wartner® should not be used by pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding. Furthermore, Wartner® cannot be used by diabetics,
because the frozen area of the skin may not heal quickly or completely. People with poor circulation are advised to consult their doctor before use.
- Do not use on areas where the skin is tender, thin, or sensitive
such as the face, neck, armpits, breasts, buttocks, or genitals.
- Do not use on irritated skin or on areas that are infected
are, redness or any sign of inflammation such as itching or swelling
show.
- Do not use on warts or plantar warts where hair grows, moles, black skin spots, pigment spots, or any other unusually appearing skin.

Warnings
For external use only. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes to prevent irritation. In case of ingestion or if allergic reactions occur, consult a doctor.

Storage advice
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store at room temperature.
