Yours Healthcare The power of alternatives
The "alternative circuit" has come under increasing pressure since the turn of the millennium. In various ways and so strongly that one can speak of a hunt for alternatives. Especially the accusation of "not proven" is constantly repeated.

At the same time, developments are taking place within the Netherlands, and also beyond, that contribute to a milder climate. It seems that conventional healthcare is beginning to embrace basic principles from alternative medicine. Slowly but surely, support for alternatives is growing, partly beneath the surface. There are signs of a turning point, for those who wish to see. This goes hand in hand with a re-evaluation of the power of alternatives. The sympathy particularly applies to the attention for the patient, which also concerns the whole person. This is in sharp contrast to the hasty, conventional medicine that has fragmented the patient into "pieces."

From the foreword by former pharmacist Dr. Gert E. Schuitemaker: "Ordinary people are becoming more and more disappointed with conventional care and have decided to search for themselves. This book tells them about the power of alternatives and will certainly help in this quest."
