Zovirax Duo contains two active ingredients: aciclovir and hydrocortisone. Aciclovir is an antiviral substance
that helps fight the virus that causes a cold sore. Hydrocortisone is a mild steroid
(adrenal cortex hormone) that reduces the inflammation associated with a cold sore

What this medicine is used for
This product is used for the treatment of early signs and symptoms (such as tingling, itching, or redness) of cold sores on the lips and the skin around the lips, to reduce the chance of a cold sore developing into a sore in adults and adolescents (12 years and older).

Do not use in case of
- You are allergic to one of the substances in this medicine.
- You have a different skin infection than a cold sore.

Consult your doctor:
#All babies with a cold sore.
#People where the spots have not disappeared after 14 days.
#People where the inflammation spreads or if there is pus coming from the blisters.
#People who also have blisters on other parts of the body.
#People with reduced immunity or with eczema.

Do not use in case of:
#Do not use in the eye, in the mouth, in the nose, or on the genitals.
#Do not use if you have a poor or weakened immune system.
#Do not use together with dressings or cold sore patches.
#Do not use in children under 12 years.

Active ingredients
One gram of cream contains 50 mg aciclovir
and 10 mg hydrocortisone.

Excipients
liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, isopropyl myristate,
sodium lauryl sulfate, cetostearyl alcohol, white soft paraffin, poloxamer 188, citric acid
monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, and purified water.

Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years
Apply the cream five times a day for 5 days (that is, approximately every 3-4 hours during the day).
It is recommended to start treatment as soon as possible after the first signs or symptoms
(for example, tingling, itching, or redness) to start.
Do not use the product for more than 5 days. If you continue to experience symptoms 5 days after you

Maximum dosage
5 times per 24 hours
