MSM stands for methylsulfonylmethane, or organically bound sulfur. MSM contains over 34% elemental sulfur and also contains two methyl groups. It is naturally found in rainwater, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables. Breast milk is the richest natural source of MSM. The importance of MSM for life on earth is significant.

Production method
Although MSM is a natural substance, it would be impractical to obtain MSM naturally. So many trees would need to be cut down, which would not be desirable. The raw materials currently used are DMSO, water, and hydrogen peroxide. Through a complicated process, DMSO is then converted into MSM. It is of great importance that the applied production method leads to a pure end product. Unfortunately, this is not always the case in the production of MSM. The expensive distillation method, which effectively removes any contaminants that may be present in the raw materials, is absolutely preferred over the often used (much cheaper) crystallization method.

Synergists
Glucosamine is, among other things, the precursor of various macromolecules such as glycosaminoglycans, proteoglycans, hyaluronic acid, glycolipids, and glycoproteins. These are found in almost all body tissues, but the highest concentrations are found in cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. The glucosamine in this product is of top quality and from a plant source (corn), not from shellfish. MSM-GC is therefore free from common allergens. Chondroitin (as chondroitin sulfate) is a component of glycosaminoglycans.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), glucosamine hydrochloride (plant-based), chondroitin sulfate (from bovine cartilage), fillers (microcrystalline cellulose [cellulosegel], cross-linked cellulose gum, rice bran extract), calcium ascorbate, glazing agents (hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, stearic acid, glycerol, carnauba wax), anti-caking agent (rice fibers).

Usage
Take 2 tablets 1-2 times a day with a meal and water.
